First Visit
Before Your First Visit
Before your first visit, we ask that you fill out our health history paperwork, and indicate your health goals. After scheduling your first appointment, you will receive an email with your intake paperwork. Completing this process prior to your first appointment will save 10-20 minutes
Tour
Upon arriving at Radix, you’re given a tour of the office so that you feel comfortable and can make yourself at home when you’re in the office. During this, you will meet the whole team and begin to understand what makes Radix so special! Please don’t hesitate to ask questions throughout your tour.
Consultation & Exam
We will take a thorough health history during the consultation and dig deep into the root cause of your health concerns. Following this consultation, we will develop health goals for you going forward.
Additional orthopedic and/or neurological examinations will follow if they are deemed necessary. Also, digital x-rays will be performed if they are clinically indicated after the consultation and examinations.
Nervous System Assessment
After we talk about your health and perform any necessary exams, we will conduct a full nervous system assessment to analyze your nervous system. The purpose is to understand how your system is functioning, to measure the affect of subluxation/s on your health, and how your body is adapting (or not adapting) to stress.
These state of the art analysis tools give us the best look at the root cause of dysfunction in your body, so that your care will be specific to the stress your nervous system deals with everyday. Throughout these exams, we will take that opportunity to educate you on how your body functions, heals, and thrives.
Second Visit
Report of Findings
After your initial visit to Radix, Dr. Hunter will develop your specific care plan. Your second visit, the Orientation and Report of Findings will be your most important and in depth visit. Dr. Hunter will speak in depth with you about chiropractic, goals, expectations, and your healing power from the inside out.
Afterwards, we will review your nervous system assessments, exams, and your health history. Then, we will discuss your specific, individualized instructions for care, and our mutual goals for your healing.
Your First Adjustment
After your report of findings, during your second visit to Radix Family Chiropractic, when you decide to move forward with our recommendations, you will head into one of our adjusting rooms for your first adjustment!
Adjustments at Radix are gentle and specific. What does this mean? Our adjustments are tailored to each individual practice member. Gentle enough for babies and people with conditions that require a gentle touch, and specific enough to target any health condition. Our technique is for every part of your family, including babies and seniors!
